These five short stories are so short, you can read them in the time it takes to swat a mosquito. Perfect for a quick read on the go, or when you just need a little something to make you smile.

1. The Mosquito

Once upon a time, there was a mosquito who was very hungry. He flew around and around, looking for someone to bite. Finally, he found a nice, juicy human leg. The mosquito landed on the leg and took a big bite. The human swatted at the mosquito, but it was too late. The mosquito had already had his fill.

2. The Fly

A fly was buzzing around a kitchen, looking for something to eat. He landed on a piece of bread and started to eat. The fly was so engrossed in his meal that he didn't notice the human who was coming up behind him. The human swatted at the fly, and the fly was squashed.

3. The Ant

An ant was marching along a sidewalk, carrying a piece of food. The ant was so focused on his task that he didn't notice the human who was coming up behind him. The human stepped on the ant, and the ant was squished.

4. The Spider

A spider was spinning a web in the corner of a room. The spider was so engrossed in his work that he didn't notice the human who was coming up behind him. The human swatted at the spider, and the spider was squashed.

5. The Mosquito Again

And that's the end of our five shortest stories. I hope you enjoyed them!
